Fool On is a mental health charity that supports wellbeing through comedy, performance, and creativity. It provides safe, supportive workshops where people can build confidence, reduce anxiety, and connect with others by taking part in comedy and live performance.
You don’t need experience or confidence to join. Fool On is about using performance as a positive tool to improve mental health, help people feel less isolated, and be part of a welcoming community.
Fool On runs free creative workshops designed to help people build confidence, improve wellbeing, and connect with others through performance and the arts. These include:
Music instrument sessions – pick up guitar, drums, bass, keys or vocals and play with others.
Singing sessions – relaxed, supportive group singing for all levels.
Comedy sessions – explore comedy writing and performance in a friendly, no-pressure setting.
All workshops are open to all experience levels (you don’t need any prior skill). They’re delivered in a relaxed, encouraging environment focused on creativity and connection rather than pressure or performance.

Fool On organises fundraising events that combine entertainment with community support. This includes live comedy shows, music nights, and special performance events where all proceeds go back into supporting our mental health workshops and services.
We also take part in community-led and partner fundraising events that help raise awareness of mental health while bringing people together in a positive, accessible way
